Qushiyot: Israel Education Fellowship - A Cohort for Long Island Educators of Teens

November 9, 2021 - June 3, 2022

Now more than ever, teens are asking about Israel.

We can help you respond.

Join the ranks of Qushiyot fellows who embrace the vibrant complexity of Israel, and foster their students’ understanding of and deep relationship with Israel.

Our students are struggling to express themselves and respond to others with different, strongly held opinions. The pedagogic approaches that create safe spaces allow teens to engage in complex, respectful dialogue, cultivating a more nuanced relationship with Israel. These approaches can be applied to many other components of our work as Jewish educators.

The Jewish Education Project, in partnership with Makom, is excited to invite applicants for a new cohort of the Qushiyot Israel Education Fellowship. The year-long program includes a full mentoring process and tools to apply a comprehensive, practical approach to Israel education that empowers educators to develop meaningful and relevant Israel educational experiences.

This cohort is specifically for Long Island-based Jewish educators who work with teens; Education Directors, Youth Professionals, Rabbis and Teachers.

The cost for participation in the full year Qushiyot Israel Education Fellowship is $180
