Beyond Listening: Fostering Belonging through Relationship-Based Engagement

The Jewish Education Project
April 18, 2024
Join The Jewish Education Project and Gather, Inc. for a two-part workshop series on cultivating belonging through the lens and practice of Relationship-Based Engagement.

Since October 7, data emerging from across the Jewish world shows that more people are entering into Jewish spaces seeking knowledge, community, and comfort. As we meet new faces and re-encounter familiar ones, how might we center relationship-building in order to create spaces of belonging and connection? In this workshop series, we'll take a deep dive into where our people are in their Jewish and personal journeys in this moment. We'll then explore how we might better meet our people where they are through several practices of Relationship-Based Engagement.

These webinars will not be recorded.

About Gather, Inc.

Gather, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization committed to helping more people realize the Jewish life they seek. They train change agents in the Jewish world to bring a relationship-centered approach to every aspect of their work, a practice they call Relationship-Based Engagement. In doing so, they seek to reorient how Jewish professionals and organizations define success: the depth and breadth of relationships they build with and among their community members. Gather, Inc. is committed to working with partners and within communities to position relationship-based engagement at the heart of how Jewish community is built and sustained.
