Rhythms of the Jewish Year: The Omer & Israel's birthday
The rhythms of the Jewish year imbue our schools with an energy that becomes a part of us. The spring period between Passover and the end of the school year feels like a barrage of lesser known celebrations and rituals. In this session we will dive into two of these: the OMER and YOM HA'ATZMAUT.
When it comes to understanding the big ideas, hands-on rituals, and emergent classroom investigations that flow from these traditions, there is much to learn for novice and veteran educators alike.

Mensch-ify is an alternative learning program that is held twice a month for families with children in Pre-K to 6th grade. It is a developmentally appropriate program, built upon the parent-child co-learning experience, that combines stories, songs, art, movement, and play to provide families with the tools they need to live a Jewish life that works for them.
