This guide will get you started in learning the sources for how Judaism supports the use of contraception. With it, you can teach a text study and invite people into a discussion based on these texts and the questions. Invite people to learn in chevruta (pairs), small groups, or all together, and then come together to discuss using the questions provided.
The Torah of Contraception is an interactive text study with guided discussion questions designed to help participants explore core Jewish sources on contraception. It’s a powerful resource for use during Repro Shabbat, in preparation for it, or alongside any of our other materials — offering Jewish learners a strong foundation for understanding this pressing modern-day issue through a Jewish lens.
