The Simple Interactions (SI) website offers educators a unique tool to guide adult-child interactions. The tool offers helpful and descriptive language to talk about interactions in practice. It serves as a visual representation, highlighting four essential ingredients of productive adult-child interactions: Connection, Reciprocity, Inclusion, and Opportunity to Grow. SI seeks to communicate the science and practice of human interactions across systems and advocate for practices, programs, and policies that empower human interactions. SI is a collaboration between the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media, Harvard Graduate School of Education, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Education.
