Conquering the Challenge of Hebrew Decoding
No matter your curriculum or textbook, this resource offers strategies for addressing 10 common challenges that Hebrew students face when learning the AlefBet and/or prayer decoding. Each of the teaching strategies are accompanied by explanations of why the research tells us they work. Appendix A summarizes 12 key learnings from hands-on experiments by Jewish educators and Appendix C offers a very helpful newly uncovered strategy called "Sound BEFORE Print."
