Professional Development Ideas and Tools for Hebrew Teachers
This amazing resource addresses a long-standing need of education directors and Hebrew supervisors - adoptable and adaptable PD suggestions for use with Hebrew teachers/tutors and other stakeholders.
The first part offers strategies for deepening stakeholder (teachers, clergy, parents, committee members) understandings of:
- the research/reasoning behind sound-to-print Hebrew learning and what it looks like in action
- the benefit of carefully examining long-held assumptions about Hebrew learning
The second part offers a variety of professional development learning activities that help teachers and tutors engage with the Hebrew teaching strategies offered in "Conquering the Challenge of Hebrew Decoding" (also linked in the portal).
