Artful Disclosure: Collecting, Visualizing, and Celebrating Women’s Stories
Artful Disclosure is an innovative program that weaves together story collecting/oral history, artistic representation, and community celebration to honor the lives of Jewish women and to encourage them to reflect on themes and influences that have shaped their lives. Created by Barbara Rosenblit and Sheila Miller in partnership with the Jewish Women's Archive and funded by the Covenant Foundation, it is designed to be adapted to a wide range of institutions serving a variety of populations, ages, and institutional missions. Through community celebrations where the art pieces are displayed, Artful Disclosure fosters connection, care, and communal narrative.
