The Jewish Americans
This series of four lesson plans is based on the 2008 PBS series The Jewish Americans. Students will investigate identity, contribution, assimilation, immigration, confrontation, discrimination, and cultural change. These lesson plans can be used to launch a larger exploration of American Jewish History and the ways American Jews have fit in - and not- in American history. The lessons can also be used to compare the American Jewish experience with other immigrant groups.
