Purim Perspectives: What's the Story?

Written for students in middle school and up, this lesson uses the Purim story and the Talmud’s discussion of the laws of Megillah reading to think about how we tell stories and what it shows about our perspective. Students look at three different possible starting points of the Purim story and what we learn from each. At the end of the lesson, students create a Sefaria sheet or Jamboard to retell the story so that it clearly delivers the messages that they think we learn (or should learn) from Purim.
