This interactive virtual webinar with Jonathan Shmidt Chapman, Founder of The K’ilu Company and the Covenant Foundation’s 2023 Jewish Family Educator Fellow, will explore dynamic ways to enliven your High Holiday family services. We'll explore the stories of the Birthday of the World and Jonah and the Whale through hands on storytelling techniques. We'll finish our time together with a chance to workshop some of your ideas for your high holiday family services.

Jonathan Shmidt Chapman is an award-winning artist, writer, and Jewish educator. As the founder of The K’ilu Company, Jonathan reimagines Jewish early childhood engagement through theater and play. His projects have reached thousands of families and classrooms across the country. He is the author of the upcoming release Let There Be Play: Bringing the Bible to Life with Young Children (Behrman House 2024). Jonathan was named the Covenant Foundation’s inaugural Jewish Family Education Fellow in 2023. He currently serves on the theatre faculty at Northwestern University.
