In this worksheet there are 12 snowmen each with its own three letter Hebrew weather word. The teacher (or the students) can cut up the snowmen and put them back together in the order of the words to learn vocabulary.

This worksheet reinforces Hebrew letter recognition and word association. Appropriate for students in grades K-5, this activity helps with decoding and learning basic vocabulary about the weather.

Some additional activities might include:

  • asking students "what is the weather today? מָה מֶזֶג הָאֲוִיר הַיּוֹם?"
  • having them answer "today there is... הַיּוֹם יֵשׁ" OR "today is.... הַיּוֹם זֶה"
  • encouraging them to act out that weather charades-style and asking their peers to guess the answer in Hebrew!
  • encouraging students to draw pictures of each weather example
