In a synthesis of Jewish and MLK text study, this resource uses the traditional Talmudic form to view MLK's speeches through the lens of Torah and Talmud wisdom. Use this resource to help students make sense of his words while simultaneously realizing the relevance and compatibility of Torah learning in a Civil Rights context. Furthermore, this resource helps students learn that by bringing diverse lenses together to study one subject, we can unearth a more nuanced and deeper understanding.
