Why Pride?

One of the most common questions JQY (Jewish Queer Youth) get from Orthodox parents and leaders is, “what is Pride and why do LGBTQ people need to parade through the streets under a rainbow flag?”

So, they made this handy little video to help people understand what Pride means to queer people and how it is a Jewish value. Educators can use this video in the classroom or share with families.
