In this 3-session course, drawn from the Jewish Grandparents Network Family Room, learners use photographs to tell stories. Target age group: upper-elementary and middle-school students, grades 5-8. The first two sessions are optional for in-class use. They can be used independently or as preparation for the third session — an intergenerational family program.

This guide includes everything you need: goals, materials, learning sequence with timing, facilitator script, links to resources on the JGN website, and a full multi-gen family program.

Visit the Jewish Grandparents Network Family Room for experiences and resources that help grandparents infuse their relationship with their grandchildren with Jewish culture, values, and traditions.

You can adapt the content for family programs- see How to Create Your Own Program Guides Using Family Room Experiences (JGN)
