Yamim 2025: Reaching for Hope
MARKING TIME, MAKING MEANING
Time will pass whether we mark it or not. The question is: how will we shape it, elevate it, and make it holy? As Jewish educators and community leaders, we carry the responsibility of helping others make meaning of sacred and complex moments. While the experiences we create may be fleeting ,the messages we offer can resonate long after.
The Yamim have returned once more, but this year feels different. We arrive at this season shaped by a year of challenge, resilience, and learning. This is a moment fo reflection and renewal. A moment to ask: how have we marked time? And how might the values of Covenant, Kindness, Humility, and Courage help us move forward?
