What Do We Do Outside in Winter for 4 year olds? Web Meeting Session

The Jewish Education Project
December 2, 2020

Join The Jewish Education Project for a brainstorming session where you can share and hear from other teachers who teach your age group about how outdoor learning in winter is going so far.

Are you teaching outside more this year? Still not sure how to spend your time outside with your class? This brainstorming session is an opportunity for you to share and hear from other teachers who teach your age group about how outdoor learning in winter is going so far. This will be an open conversation that will be facilitated by Sasha Kopp, Community Early Childhood and Family Engagement Consultant.

Sasha Kopp | Sasha Kopp is a Community Early Childhood and Family Engagement Consultant at The Jewish Education Project. Sasha grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and has loved camp and the outdoors for as long as she can remember.  In 2010, Sasha found her passion for outdoor education through a semester studying in abroad and working at Skovbørnebaven Skovletten a public forest kindergarten in Glostrop, Denmark. This experience inspired her to spend more time outside as a teacher at Temple Beth Shalom in Needham, MA where she took her classes outside for hours on end - through all kinds of weather! Sasha is excited to share her passion and creativity, as together, we re-think how to spend time our outside.
