The Wexner Foundation Curricular Design Tree provides an interactive view of the three major approaches to curricular design:
- Backwards Design
- Emergent Design
- Problem Based Design
The tree guides educators through an intentional ideation process for these approaches.
This roadmap also includes a link to a Digital and Non-Digital Tools Inventory, which allows educators to consider which tools best support a curriculum's goals.
The Tree and Inventory were created in collaboration with Mindy Gold of EdTech MMG.
