WE DECLARE is an initiative that aims that to bring democracy and Jewish-democratic values to the center of Israeli and global Jewish discourse, inspired and based upon the Israeli Declaration of Independence.

At the heart of We Declare is ISRAELI TALMUD: TRACTATE INDEPENDENCE – a brand-new book (in Hebrew) compiled and edited by BINA senior educator, Dov Elbaum, in partnership with the Israel Democracy Institute, published by Yediot Books. This work is a compilation of over 160 original essays, interpretations, research, discussions and insights pertaining to each paragraph of Israel's Declaration of Independence (Megilat HaAtzmaut), written by leading Israeli and international Jewish scholars from across the social-political spectrum.
