Rhythms of the Jewish Year: Shavuot

April 28, 2022

The rhythms of the Jewish year imbue our schools with an energy that becomes a part of us. In this session we will dive into SHAVUOT, which makes its appearance just as we are closing out the school year.

When it comes to understanding Shavuot's big ideas, hands-on rituals, and the emergent classroom investigations that flow from them, there is much to learn for novice and veteran educators alike.

How do we welcome and embrace this holiday even whilst we are wrapped up in closing out the year?

This offering is brought to you by a collaboration between JCC Association's Sheva Center, Early Childhood Educators of Reform Judaism (ECE-RJ), The Paradigm Project, the Jewish Education Project, the Jewish Early Childhood Association, American Jewish University, the William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education at JTS, and the Jewish Federations and education agencies of Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver/Boulder, Los Angeles, Greater MetroWest NJ, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
