HaAtid Emerging Early Childhood Educators

October 27, 2022

The HaAtid Network For Emerging Early Childhood Educators is an opportunity from The Jewish Education Project and the Jewish Early Childhood Association (JECA) to create a dynamic cohort experience for emerging early childhood professionals in the greater New York area. Each HaAtid participant will attend seven network sessions led by professionals from The Jewish Education Project and Teaching Beyond the Square. Participants will also meet with expert mentor teachers in the field who will support the educator throughout the year.

Participants:

The HaAtid Network for Emerging Early Childhood Educators is a network for new and new-ish educators who have taught in a school for no more than four years. Educators can be any age, and religion, and excited to learn more about the field of Jewish Early Childhood Education.

Mentors:

Participation in the network includes a valuable mentorship program. Mentor teachers are teachers who are currently teaching in the greater New York area and have been in the field for more than five years. Mentors will receive a $1800 honorarium for their time.
