About the Facilitators:
Dan Tatar | Dan's experience in relational engagement is rooted in his own teen Israel experience. His time as a professional in the field has focused on fostering meaningful relationships and building creative experiences. Dan's background as a stage and television actor and passion for educational technology offer a unique perspective on Israel education. He is currently working toward his Master's Degree in Israel Education at The George Washington University.
Dr. Noam Weissman | Dr. Noam Weissman is Senior Vice President of OpenDor Media, where he spearheads the educational vision and leads content creation. Noam heads a team of producers and educators for the Unpacked YouTube channel, which has over 50,000 subscribers and millions of views. He is also the host of the podcast “Unpacking Israeli History.”
Abby Pitkowsky | Abby is the Director of Israel Education and Westchester Region at The Jewish Education Project. After living in Israel for nine years, she returned to the U.S. and shifted her professional focus to her local NY Jewish community. Abby directed the Qushiyot Israel Education Fellowship, a comprehensive, open approach to Israel education that embraces the vibrant complexity of Israel. Her current work supports educators to develop meaningful and relevant Israel educational opportunities for their institutions.
