This guide was created to examine the choices Jews have made in America from the time of the first Jewish settlers through the central European migration, the processes by which those decisions were made, and their engagement with their identity amidst a pluralistic society.

This curriculum guide was created by Sabrina Sjolseth Bahir, 2006 graduate of the HUC-JIR School of Education. It was intended for 5th graders in a day school setting.
