Hebrew Scavenger Hunt in the Classroom
This is a good resource to have on hand for advanced students who finish work early or for an advanced class learning about classroom objects.
Some teachers may choose to teach the vocabulary first through a game. "תָּבִיא לִי עִפָּרוֹן" (bring me a pencil) and then to encourage the kids to find the items on their own in the scavenger hunt.
It is helpful to label items in the classroom with the vocabulary listed here to reinforce and review the vocabulary on an ongoing basis. Email kaylar@hebrewatthecenter.org to receive the Hebrew at the Center classroom vocabulary labels.
