Yeshiva/Day School Early Childhood Directors Roundtable
About this Network:
This continuing network will allow for Directors and Assistant Directors in Jewish Early Childhood settings to share and develop best practices in the field of Early Childhood Education. There will be a focus on topics that are timely and relevant to directors. You will help craft meeting agendas, with a focus on incorporating and supporting constructivist and child-centered Jewish learning.
Additional Information:
This network is designed for early childhood directors based in yeshivas/day schools located in Long Island and Queens. Brooklyn directors are welcome to join us as well.
About the Facilitator:
Elana Fertig
Elana Fertig, MS Ed, is the Early Childhood Director at Yeshiva of South Shore for the last 16 years and was the EC Director at Prospect Park Yeshiva for the 3 years prior. Elana has presented workshops for Torah Umesorah, for The Jewish Education Project, COJDS, and throughout the tri-state area. She is the author of “Infusing the Ruach in Your School,” and coordinates classes and workshops for Early Childhood Directors and Teachers. She is one of the founders of the Long Island-Yeshiva Early Childhood Network.
