Easy vocabulary such as Ima, Abba, Saba and Savta, can be taught with limited knowledge of Hebrew letters. As students are becoming familiar with Hebrew letters, use a family tree as a fun art project to engage them in commonly used vocabulary and easy to comprehend concepts.
For an extra step, ask students to find out family members' Hebrew names and write them out!
This is also a great resource to use in an intergenerational program.
