What Drives the Choices of Generation Alpha Families?
Follow our study: What Drives the Choices of parents Raising Jewish Children Born 2011 - 2016?
The Jewish Education Project is starting an exciting new study to understand the choices of parents raising tweens and young teens.
Our objectives are to:
- Examine the attitudes and beliefs of Jewish Generation Alpha parents towards Jewish identity development broadly defined
- Examine what forces drive decision-making about joining communities, use of resources, selecting educational environments, type of programming, etc.
- Understand the challenges faced by Jewish families in accessing and participating in Jewish education.
- Identify effective strategies for designing Jewish education that speaks to Generation Alpha families and resulting strategies for promoting these opportunities.
The next decade of Jewish educational offerings must be shaped by who these families are – let’s get to know them together!
This study has been approved by the Health Media Lab (HML) IRB, ensuring it meets ethical standards. For questions, please contact Talia Hurwich, Director of Research and Evaluation at The Jewish Education Project.
