The story of Holocaust Victim Eva Heyman lives on for years through her diary, which allows readers of all ages a glimpse into the life of a 13 year old girl in Hungary before and during the war.

In 2019, her story became a series of narrative Instagram stories, which together made a meaningful film, presented to a new generation in a new way.

In this resource you will find Eva's diary in interactive form from Yad VaShem, as well as a link to the story series on Instagram. Educators can use both to explore this story, as well as discuss themes of memory and commemoration with learners.
