Long Island Educator Circle

Facilitators: Ivy Schreiber, Loen Amer
Format: Hybrid (includes some virtual)

About this Network:

The LI Educator Circle is a space for Long Island educators who lead schools and programs in part-time Jewish education to connect, learn, and support one another. We know how isolating this work can be, especially for those juggling part-time roles with limited resources. The Educator Circle is designed to change that: practical learning you can apply immediately, time to build real relationships with peers and colleagues across the Island, and awareness of the resources available to you.

Additional Information:

What to expect:

  • In-person gatherings every 6–8 weeks, rotating across Long Island venues
  • Sessions focused on practical takeaways
  • Built-in time to schmooze, swap ideas, and ask each other the questions
  • A WhatsApp group for ongoing connection between gatherings for religious school directors
