Inventing Ritual for October 7th with Dr. Vanessa Ochs
As the second yahrzeit of October 7th approaches—this year falling on the first day of Sukkot—how can we mark the day with care, meaning, and sensitivity? Join Dr. Vanessa Ochs, esteemed scholar of Jewish ritual, for a webinar offering inspiration, tools, and space for reflection. Educators will explore ritual frameworks and start imagining how their own communities might commemorate this tragic day at this complex moment.
This is an opportunity for educators working across settings and age ranges to identify themes and messages that will resonate with their school community and begin designing an impactful program for learners. Whether you’re already planning or just beginning to think, this judgment-free learning space will support your process.
