The candle that is used to light all the other Hanukkah candles is called the shamash. We all know how much the rabbis like to stare at the light from the flames twinkling on the Hanukkah candles, they do it all night every year. It's actually pretty crazy. But what sort of secret Kabbalistic meditations are they doing while they stare intensely into the mitzva? I have no idea.
