Generation Now Fellowship - Cohort 2
About this Network:
The Generation Now Fellowship is an immersive professional development experience designed for veteran educators from across the country who are interested in making a lasting impact on the field of Jewish teen education and engagement. With generous support from the Jim Joseph Foundation, this fellowship invests in those select professionals who are most likely to influence educational change and innovation in the teen landscape. The Fellowship was intended to build both professional and leadership skills, as well as to expand Jewish educational thinking, in particular around a new outcomes-driven approach to teen education and engagement.
This network is designed to help foster cross cohort communication as well as sharing of relevant research and articles about teen education and engagement for participants in the Generation Now Fellowship.
Additional Information:
In addition to being connected to a community of colleagues representing a diverse array of organizations and initiatives, over the course of the fellowship, each fellow participates in multiple 3-day convenings, a leadership intensive at the Disney Institute, monthly webinars, and self-directed professional development opportunities (i.e. personalized coaching, specialized management/leadership courses, Jewish learning experiences, etc.).
About the Facilitator:
Andrea Hendler
Andrea Hendler is the Director of the Generation Now Fellowship, a fellowship for veteran educators intended to transform the field of Jewish teen engagement/education into one driven by a new outcomes-oriented practice. Over the last two decades, she has helped shape multiple professional education and training programs for (emerging and veteran) Jewish communal professionals, Jewish educators, and Rabbinical students. Since August 2017, Andrea has been a licensed Israeli tour guide and enjoys showing tourists/students the complexity and richness of Israeli society.
