Guide

From elementary to high school, if planned with care and forethought, the end of the school year can present an amazing opportunity for students to reflect back on all that they have done over the year, connect the dots between varied skill sets they have gained and honed, and zoom in on those components that have been especially meaningful and important to them in their cognitive, emotional, religious, and other growth.

We offer here a collection of summative assessment projects and activities that are well-suited for active end-of-year reflection.

The projects or activities are loosely listed in order from elementary to high school, but we suggest you read through them all as you might think of ways to adapt them to your age group. Make sure you look to the very end, where we suggest emotional closures for all grades, as well.
