Purim Circles of Responsibility

This lesson is designed for students to engage in a chesed (kindness) project in the context of the mitzvot of the upcoming celebration of Purim. Students will learn the four mitzvot of Purim. Using the "Circles of Responsibility" framework, students will also identify that the mitzvot of Purim connect us with people we know and people we do not yet know but to whom we are also obligated.

The lesson can be done as a family lesson. It can be done in advance of Purim or even on Purim eve before Megillah reading, if time allows.

Best suited for 4th - 7th graders.
